The legal insurance you have taken out in your country of residence is generally also valid in Turkey. Depending on your policy, legal insurances usually cover the costs of legal steps to be taken for the compensation you claim abroad. We can find out for you whether your legal insurance is valid by contacting the relevant insurer.
WHICH LEGAL INSURANCE COMPANIES DO YOU WORK WITH?
We have worked with many legal insurers so far. In principle, legal insurers can recommend a lawyer to you, but they cannot force you to choose a particular lawyer. The insured person is free to choose who they want to represent them. If you provide us with information about your legal insurance, we can contact your insurer for you.
WHO CONTACTS THE LEGAL INSURANCE? WHO DOES THE CORRESPONDENCE WITH THE LEGAL INSURANCE COMPANY?
You can either contact your legal insurance company or we can contact your legal insurance company for you. If you contact the legal insurance company, you just need to get a Schadennummer for the case and report it to us. We can handle the rest of the correspondence. Alternatively, if you provide us with details of your insurance, we can follow up the matter on your behalf from the outset.
IF MY INSURANCE DOES NOT APPROVE THE CASE, WHO WILL COVER THE COSTS UP TO THAT POINT?
Your first consultation with us is free of charge (Erstberatung). If you inform us during this consultation that you have legal insurance, we will contact the relevant insurance company. Necessary correspondence will be made. You will not be charged a fee for this stage. All our work is free of charge until we receive confirmation that your legal insurance will cover the costs.
